We’re 5 days into the Whistler mountain bike course. The guys are ticking off the trails, and getting to know them is half the fun! The last few days have been getting down to some basics. Learning some good technique, and how to pass that onto newbies that come to the park for a lesson and guiding. We’ve been practicing teaching progressions for solid downhill technique and creating a fun and safe experience to boot.
We spent a while on the first morning looking at how we can set up our suspension for the nicest ride that will be best suited to the unique Whistler Park. Getting sag, compression and and rebound just the way we like it can get a bit techy but makes the ride that much nicer! We tested out some funky compression and rebound settings also, just to eventually find that sweet spot.
An afternoon of disc golf was a whole lot of fun and we’ll be back to play again soon.
