Peak Leaders trainees are more than half-way through the Crankworx week. We’re already getting a little anxious, because it will be over before we know it!

So far it’s been awesome, we’ve seen the Garbanzo Downhill which is an epic race from the top of the SECOND chair to the bottom, through all sorts of ‘gnar’; Steve Smith took the number one spot. He also took the Air DH title, a high speed jump-run down the legendary A-Line. The Dual Speed and Style was a cool new event too, combining a time and judged run, with 2 riders racing at a time.

A highlight for all of our trainees has definitely been the Un-Official Official Whip Contest, on a couple of the beefy ‘Crab-apple’ Hits. The Whip contest definitely kept thins real and we were fortunate-enough to get front row seats (check the video footage below). Crankworx events are now moving to the bottom of the mountain for the next couple of days, with riders hitting the slopestyle course for the Best Trick Session and the epic Slopestyle comp. So much to see and do, so little time!
