HOTEL AND FOOD
Your home from home in St Anton is one of our favourites across all the courses. The Haus is a beautifully restored building and is one of the oldest in St. Anton. It's in a great location - easy stroll from the lift and close to bars and restaurants. The accommodation includes spacious, light and airy comfortable 2 or 3 person rooms, and is usually en suite. Think crisp white linen and towels! (A limited number of single rooms are also available at an extra cost.) The beds are in the Austrian style of being set up like a double, but with single matresses and duvets. You'll have an epic continental breakfast in the hotel everyday and evening meals are provided 5 days a week. Evening meals are served in a local restaurant with an excellent reputation.

THE MOUNTAIN
St. Anton is regarded as the leading ski resort destination in Austria. It has an outstanding amount of advanced runs, miles of backcountry to explore, a decent park, a reliable snow record and an extensive ski area that caters for a mixed level of abilities. We guarantee that you can find untracked runs all season...but you'll have to come on the course to be shown all the secret spots! The Arlberg is in the western province of Austria and the first snow sweep the high passes of this region in the early Autumn. It's known for having a bit of a microclimate and for usually producing tonnes of snow.
The resort is only an hour from Innsbruck and there's a direct train from Zurich, so it's really accessible, making it a popular destionation for locals and foreigners alike. The locals are really hospitable and friendly and the Austrians love their apres ski. Heard of the Mooserwirt or the Krazy Kanguruh?
THE TOWN & APRES SKI
We like St. Anton as there's a loads going on off the mountain too. Depending on how active you're feeling, yout could go indoor climbing at Arl Rock...which also has a wicked basement bar/bowling alley and an awesome little Asian restaurant - The Skiing Buddha. There's an epic wellness centre that has swimming pools, hot tubs, saunas and a gym. It's usually pretty quiet at the start of the season, so it's perfect for chilling out in.
The club and bar scene in St Anton is world famous, and less expensive than some of the other European ski resorts. Popular spots for apres are the Krazy Kangaruh Bar on the mountainside, which kicks off late afternoon until about 8pm and the world famous Moosewirt Bar. They get packed early on, but definitely worth a visit. Bobo’s in the town centre plays rock and hip-hop into the early hours. This season there are a few new bars that you can disappear into if you fancy a more chilled out drink too.
