Whistler Mountain Bike Instructor Development Camp

Become a qualified mountain bike guide in the world famous Whistler Bike Park through the Whistler Blackcomb Instructor Development Programme (IDP) and be a part of the Kokanee Crankworx Freeride MTB Festival! Riding 5 days a week with the Whistler Blackcomb pro coaches who will guide you through the IDP levels 1 and 2. These practical based courses cover topics such as Teaching & Guiding Theory, Riding Skills, Theory & Demonstrating and Client Safety & Satisfaction in relation to Instructing in the Whistler Bike Park.

Whistler Improver

Our 4 week course is perfect if you have limited time off work, if you would like to qualify and work in Canada in the same season or you would simply like to spend a month improving your skiing or riding. The pre-Christmas course allows you to qualify and then stay on to teach in Canada over Christmas and for the rest of the season (dependent on acquiring a work visa and job opportunities with the ski / board school). Alternatively, experience spring in Whistler on the March - April course, when the snow is still fantasic and the legendary Telus Festival is in full swing.
