Peak Leaders' Whistler Mountain Bike Instructor Development Camps are designed for people who love mountain biking and would like to make a career out of it, working in Whistler Blackcomb Bike Park. We recommend that you are of a fairly high personal riding standard before embarking on the Instructor Development Programme. You must be comfortable on fast single track and have confidence and control on steep sections and drops and jumps. The Level One course will equip you to guide beginners on gentle terrain and give you the core guiding skills that you will develop in Level Two. The Level Two course focuses more on guiding on technical terrain including jump style trails and down hill techniques, as well as progressing your coaching ability to get the best out of your clients.
If you feel that you would like to do the Instructor Development Camp but are not confident that your personal skills are good enough, why not do our Whistler Mountain Bike Performance Camp first. That way you will be in the best possible position to get the most out of the IDP Levels 1 and 2. Click for more into on the Whistler Mountain Bike Performance Camp.

Thanks for a very successful partnership for 2009. Ed Cornfield is to be particularly regarded as an incredible asset to Peak Leaders. Your group was outstanding in respecting the property and making an extended stay pleasurable. Ski season is very hard on our rooms and particularly difficult on extended stays. I was so grateful for the clean up that took place as your crew stayed with us. They become a part of the place and it’s empty and sad when they leave. Our staff becomes attached. You had an amazing team this year.
