Welcome to Whistler
This is the world's most famous resort and for good reason. The mountains offer some of the best skiing and riding in the world with huge snowfalls over every kind of terrain that you could imagine. Whistler/Blackcomb is by far the largest area in North America, with an average of over 10 metres of snow each year. Whistler Village is right at the bottom of the slopes, (very unusual for Canada), meaning that everything you need for the season is right on your door step.
Only the best Whistler ski & snowboard coaches prepare you for Level 1 examination. This is usually in week 4, giving you plenty of time afterwards to develop your skiing and snowboarding through a number of options. After passing Level 1 ski or snowboard instructor exams, you can start training towards Level 2, gain experience with the ski school, do freestyle, adaptive ski, and race coach modules or switch disciplines so that you are an instructor at Level 1 in both skiing and snowboarding. Because it is at the centre of the Snowsport's world, Whistler offers the greatest range of optional extras. Unlike many of our competitiors, included in the cost is an avalanche awareness course, a ski / board maintenance clinic an in bounds introduction to the back country and a first aid course. It's vital you gain these skills as part of your mountain experience.

The season was fantastic, the course was top notch and you and Jay did such a great job as Course Leaders. I would recommend Peak Leaders anyday.
