VERBIER LEVEL 3 & 4 TRAINING
GOT YOUR BASI 1 & 2?
THEN MAYBE IT’S TIME
FOR THE BASI 3 or 4?
After taking your BASI exams it’s always tempting to keep going with the exams…
But often trainees take a couple of seasons away before committing to another winter.
Well, if that sounds like you, you might be interested to read this blog.
Concept Level 3 and Level 4 courses are professional and intense, but also a brilliant experience and great fun.
As well as the training packages we also offer accommodation options and even employment opportunities…
WHAT’S THE TRAINING PACKAGE?
Taking the next step with your exams means going up another gear in your training.
So you will be coached by BASI examiners who aren’t just amazing coaches, they also run the BASI 3 and 4 exams.
You might well have skied with them at BASI 1 and 2, but they will be taking you to the next level this season…
It’s 200 hours across the winter, with on-snow and off-snow training as well as fitness, employment advice and mentoring.
WHAT ABOUT ACCOMODATION?
The Concept Level 3 and Level 4 training doesn’t include lift passes and accommodation.
But we have accommodation options in Le Chable and Verbier that we can bolt-on to your course.
In Le Chable you will be staying a short walk from the lift to Verbier which runs from 6am to midnight.
In Verbier you can stay right by the Medran lifts.
Equally, if you want to sort your own accommodation, then you can just book the training course.
We always ask trainees to wait until they have started their training before booking any exams. A lot of exams run in Verbier but you need to go for them when you’re ready – and that is different for every trainee.
WHAT ABOUT WORK?
As you already know, UK instructors can’t currently get work permits (or work Visas) in Switzerland.
But if you have an EU passport getting a permit and a job in Verbier is easy and a great option – you can work and train all season.
We have brilliant partnerships in Verbier and can help you with applications now! If you have teaching experience you might even be able to get a job with Element.
But if you don’t have an EU passport, then there are work opportunities for UK instructors in Italy – just an hour away – where you can teach for up to 80 days.
Many trainees will train with us and simply pop over for peak teaching weeks in Aosta.
You can also choose to focus on training and we can arrange a Student Permit that allows you to stay all winter without working in Verbier.
