This is the course for you if you are looking to work in Austria as an instructor during the season.

The Course

Quite simply, St Anton is one of the most famous resorts in the world. Epic snow and a lively resort make St. Anton the perfect place to do a season. Our 4 week pre-Christmas course could get you qualified to Austrian Ski Instructor level 1 (Anwarter) and there's potential to work for the Ski Schule Alberg after the course!

Each year the Ski Schule Arlberg have employed a number trainees during busy weeks throughout the season. It's a great opportunity to kick start a career or season in teaching. Being a German speaking resort, you will need to have a good knowledge of German for certain parts of the course. Weoffer German language classes during the course to help you with this. As you would expect, it's important that you can speak German if you want to work as an instructor in St Anton.

We have jam-packed the course full to make sure you get the most out of the pre season training.

On arrival in St. Anton, you'll have a welcome meeting, talk through the ski instructor coursewith the Course Leader and coaches from the Alberg Ski School and have a day's orientation to get familiar with the resort before the course kicks off.

Aside from the coaching that you'll receive during the weeks, you can take part in German language classes, gain your first aid certification, gain an ILM 4 Award in Leadership (an optional extra), look at fitness and pre-season preparation, and of course, squeeze in that all important apres ski beer!
