Horse Riding through the Patagonian Steppe

Every year, towards the end of our 9-week instructor course in Argerntina, we take our trainee ski and snowboard instructors horse riding through the foothills of the Andes. Cuyin Manzano is a tiny village on the edge of the Nahuel Huapi National Park that is inhabited by the Gauchos that work the land. This small village in the middle of nowhere is where course director Ivan is from and still has many relatives that live there. The day starts with a 2-hour horse ride through the beautiful Patagonian Steppe then the Gauchos cook up a classic Argentine Asado  (BBQ) for the trainees to enjoy. It’s a magical day and gives the trainees a good insight into rural life in Patagonia.
