We’re certain that whichever option you choose, you’ll have the experience of a lifetime.
⇨ THE TRAINING PACKAGE ⇦
The best results start with the very best training.
So you will only be trained by the best coaches with the highest qualifications.
We’ve spent years fine-tuning our courses, which means you get the best possible experience and the best chance of passing your exams.
So you’ll get 275 hours of coaching across your course – as well as on-snow performance coaching you’ll also get freestyle sessions, racing in GS gates plus off-piste training.
There’s also constant video feedback, job advice sessions, a First Aid course and plenty more…
LIFT PASSES
Your lift pass isn’t automatically included with your Verbier Course price.
That’s because lift passes in Verbier vary a lot depending on your age, when you buy them and if you want the additional insurance.
So, to keep things simple, you can buy your own pass via the lift company website, or we can add it to your course fee.
CHOOSE YOUR EXAMS
Most courses include the BASI 1+2 exams.
But if you start in January you can do BASI 1 then train for your BASI “Mountain Safety” Off-piste exam.
So you can choose what works best for you – but if you change your mind during the Level 1 training, we can often move you oto the other course if there’s still space.

⇨ THE COURSE SCHEDULES ⇦
WHAT’S THE AVERAGE WEEK LIKE?
There’s a huge amount of variety from one week to the next – and, of course, for three weeks of your course you’ll be doing BASI exams.
But here’s a sample week to give you an idea of how the training works and how it’s structured.
WHAT’S THE COURSE STRUCTURE?
THE BASI 1 + 2 COURSES
A BASI 1 + 2 course in Verbier is ten weeks long (nine weeks for the February course).
The BASI Level 1 and BASI Level 2 exams take up just under three weeks – the rest is a focussed training schedule as well as time spent shadowing and helping out with real lessons to help yo improve your teaching skills.
The schedule can change each year, but it’s always in two phases – the Level 1 phase, then the Level 2 phase.
It’s all designed to make sure you are perfectly prepared for your next challenge.
THE OFF-PISTE OPTION
In January you can take the BASI 1 then train for the BASI off-piste qualification – so you can finish your course exploring Verbier’s freeride terrain with our off-piste experts and working towards the BASI Mountain Safety exam.
⇨ THE ACCOMMODATION PACKAGES ⇦
Our accommodation is always right in the heart of town.
In fact the Mont Gele is ski-in and ski-out.
Whilst some seasonaires end up living miles from the lifts (and the nightlife) we are committed to making sure you’re only a stone’s throw from everything.
In fact, the Medran bubble is 30 seconds from your front door.
But if you want the flexibility of going self-catered, then you can choose training-only and arrange your own accommodation – but still get all the amazing benefits of the full training package.
Whichever option you choose, we’ll make sure you have a course that you will remember for the rest of your life.
THE CHALET
We are very happy to announce we are back in the Mont Gele!
Our Trainees love the place – a big ski-in ski-out chalet, right by the main Medran lifts and a stones throw from Verbier’s nightlife.
Our accommodation always feels like home, and there’s always a great atmosphere in the Mont Gele – especially when trainees relax after training on the balconies and enjoy the epic views.
It’s a home-from-home and a great social environment all rolled into one.
There’s also a cleaning and recycling service as well as regular linen changes all arranged.
Plus the communal areas allow you to watch a movie with a few friends or just catch up over a coffee or a beer.
The package includes dinner five nights per week, as well as breakfast provided five days per week (including a cooked option once a week).
There are a mix of twin rooms, bunk rooms and triple rooms, with the option to book single occupancy if you wish.
At the end of the day, there’s no other course in Verbier that can offer anything like it: fun, central and ski-in, ski-out.

STAY FOR LONGER
If you want to stay for longer then check out our extended options.
Depending on your passport you have different options. So just click here read more.
If you haven’t got an EU passport don’t worry – we can arrange a Student Permit so you can train longer, ski more and stay all season.
TRAINING-ONLY
COURSES
If you decide that you want to arrange your own accommodation and catering, then we have the option of choosing the training-only package.
This allows you to do all the training and take all the exams in exactly the same way as the full course – the only difference is that no accommodation and no food is included.
This is an option that’s often popular with Trainees who want stay with friends in resort or perhaps have specific dietary requirements and find it easier to cook for themselves.
ADVICE:
If you are thinking about going training-only we can definitely help with accommodation advice (and contacts).
Having lived in resort for fifteen years we know plenty of people and agents that we trust, so we can point you in the right direction.
We can give you advice about which areas of Verbier are best – and which areas are a little too far from the lifts…
We can also make suggestions about renting in Le Chable which is in the valley below Verbier, but connected by the bubble and busses. In fact most of resort’s ski instructors seem to live in Le Chable now.
Almost all options would be for the full season, although if you get in touch early we can often help find a solution that’s just for the duration of the course.
So if you’re keen on our training-only option and want accommodation advice, just get in touch.
EXTENDED
ACCOMMODATION
OPTIONS
We realised a long time ago that too many courses ended leaving trainees scrambling for extended accommodation in the final weeks – just when they should have been concentrating on their exams.
To make it more difficult courses always end just before the expensive half term weeks.
So a number of years ago we decided to arrange extended accommodation packages.
That meant if you wanted to stay in resort after the course ended we could take out the stress and the hassle.
We make the package as affordable as we can – so you’ll be catered just like when you were on the course, with get a regular cleaner and linen changes.
Plus the peace of mind that that your accommodation is sorted – so you can concentrate on getting up there and skiing.
