CORONAVIRUS: BARILOCHE 2020 CANCELLED

OUR COURSE IN ARGENTINA WILL NOT RUN THIS YEAR

We are very sad to confirm that we have taken the difficult decision to cancel our Bariloche course.

With the uncertainty about travel and resort opening, it seemed to risky to run the course.

We have spoken to our team in Argentina and whilst they are hopeful that the season will get underway as scheduled, it cannot be guaranteed. They, like many of us, are waiting to see how the government begins to release the lockdown. And of course nobody can currently be certain how and when international and internal flights will resume.

The risk of resort being unable to open or perhaps travel being locked down again during the course represented too great a risk.

So we have cancelled the course and we are focussing on our Swiss courses in Saas Fee and Verbier.

With our Swiss courses running later in the year we are confident that they will run as usual and we look forward to meeting all the trainees for our first turn of the season.

Meanwhile we are already planning for Bariloche 2021, and we look forward to skiing in the incredible resort of Catedral again next year – and seeing our friends down in Patagonia again soon.
