SUMMER COURSES IN SAAS FEE
WINTER MIGHT BE OVER OVER
BUT YOU CAN STILL KEEP SKIING
We’re very excited to announce our Summer course in Saas Fee.
We run a course in Saas Fee every season in the autumn, but due to the great conditions and late snow we are going to be heading over early for a special course.
The course will start mid-July and end mid-August.
But if it seems odd to be skiing in summer, don’t worry – Saas Fee has an amazing glacier (one of the best skiing glaciers in Europe) so that it’s got skiing all year round.
Which means you can ski all morning and then head down into the sunny valley after lunch for some off-snow training before relaxing in the alpine sunshine.
THE SUMMER COURSE
BASI LEVEL 1 EXAM
5 WEEK COURSE
18 JULY – 21 AUGUST 2021
There will be four weeks of coaching followed by a one week BASI Level 1 exam.
Training will be about 4 hours a day on-snow with an hour of off-snow activities in the afternoon.
This will include fitness and coordination work, as well as football, volleyball, tennis and hiking.
Accommodation will be at the brilliant Park Hotel where we stay every year on the autumn course.
Trainees will have dinner five nights a week and breakfast seven days a week.
This course is aimed at trainees who are able to travel legally to Switzerland.
Currently we are talking to all trainees about their specific requirements but, for example, if your home nation is banning holiday travel but allowing travel for education then you would be eligible to join us.
Naturally the rules in different countries are shifting all the time, so just get in touch to chat about your travel situation.
Needless to say that once you are in Switzerland we will be following all the local rules to the letter. You can also read a bit more about our standard Covid cancelation rules here.
