Peak Leaders ski instructor training courses and internships give you the chance to train, learn and have the experience of a lifetime doing a sport you love.

We’ve been training ski instructors for over 20 years so when it comes to packing your bags and heading off to the mountains, we know everything there is to know.

We specialise in running courses in two fantastic Swiss resorts – Saas Fee in the fall and Verbier in the winter.

And all of our courses include exams from BASI, the British Association of Snowsport instructors, who’s qualifications are recognised all over the world – including in Japan, Switzerland, Canada, New Zealand, Austria, the USA, Australia…

CURRENCIES

All prices are set in Swiss Francs (and your invoice will normally be in CHF), but you can use the flags on the right to see an indicative GBP price.

A winter in the world-famous resort of Verbier is an unforgettable experience.

The courses include race training, backcountry days, weekly fitness classes and more.

Plus you can work straight after the course and extend your stay in the chalet for the whole winter. Get in touch to find out about how our internships work.

We also have two accommodation options: Catered or Train-only.

Catered Trainees stay in our great accommodation right by the slopes and have dinner five nights a week and breakfast five mornings a week.

Meanwhile Train-only includes all of your coaching and exams and off-snow activities, but you can arrange your own accommodation and catering.

We normally offer BASI Level 1 and level 2 exams, but on our January start you can take the BASI 1 then train for the BASI Mountain Safety off-piste exam.

Our course in Saas Fee course is an ideal option if you want to be teaching by the winter.

It’s a legendary glacial resort that attracts the best skiers in the world in autumn – so you could be rubbing shoulders with World Cup stars…

We have two main options in Saas Fee – you choose Catered or Train-only just like Verbier.

We also offer a short 3 week course that just covers the BASI 1. You can read more about the short option here.

The pre-season course means that you can be a BASI qualified instructor by the end of November ready for a season anywhere in the northern hemisphere.
